Where AC9M8P01 comes from and where it goes, for a student working below or above Year 8.

  1. Year 7AC9M7P01identify the sample space for single-stage events; assign probabilities to the outcomes of these events and predict relative frequencies for related events
  2. Year 7AC9M7P02conduct repeated chance experiments and run simulations with a large number of trials using digital tools; compare predictions about outcomes with observed results, explaining the differences
  3. Year 9AC9M9P01list all outcomes for compound events both with and without replacement, using lists, tree diagrams, tables or arrays; assign probabilities to outcomes
  4. Year 9AC9M9P02calculate relative frequencies from given or collected data to estimate probabilities of events involving “and”, inclusive “or” and exclusive “or”
  5. Year 9AC9M9P03design and conduct repeated chance experiments and simulations, using digital tools to compare probabilities of simple events to related compound events, and describe results
